Description

AutoTecknic dry carbon fiber with a matte finish for the GTR steering wheel controller panel cover. The carbon weave and finish matched GTR 2012 Black Edition OEM carbon finish. It's a very noticeable and nice interior upgrade for any GTR. If you are tired of looking at your OEM steering wheel trim, these are the ones to get since you don't need to worry about fitment issues as it's precisely cut with a CNC machine.

Dry carbon is the highest-quality version of carbon fiber products that are produced. Dry carbon fiber's name also comes from its manufacturing process. Dry carbon fiber is formed using a "pre-preg" or impregnated piece of carbon materials. This piece of carbon is first placed into a mold and then into a sealed vacuum (autoclave) to cure appropriately. The autoclave vacuuming process of making dry carbon means fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets in the carbon. This method creates the least amount of waste and forms a lighter version of carbon than the "wet" method.

DIY installation can be done using the included 3M adhesive tape. 1.5mm real carbon trim, snap-on with attached double-sided 3M tape installation in 5 minutes, and you have a new carbon look!
