SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY

Peter’s Car Parts


Shipping Methods & Fulfillment

All orders are shipped via UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, or other approved carriers.

Orders may ship from:

  • Peter’s Car Parts facilities

  • Authorized warehouses

  • Third-party suppliers (drop-shipping)

Orders may be fulfilled in multiple shipments and may arrive separately.


Processing Times

  • In-stock orders: up to 7–10 business days to process and ship

  • Non-stock / special order items: processing times vary and may be significantly longer

All processing times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

If your order is time-sensitive, you must contact us prior to placing the order.


Shipping Delays

Shipping timelines are not guaranteed.

Delays may occur due to:

  • Supplier or manufacturer delays

  • Backorders or production timelines

  • Carrier issues

  • Weather, customs, or global logistics disruptions

Delays do not qualify an order for cancellation, refund, or dispute.


Risk of Loss & Delivery Responsibility

Once an order has shipped:

  • The shipment is under the control of the carrier

  • Peter’s Car Parts is not responsible for delays, lost, stolen, or misdelivered packages

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate shipping information

  • Monitoring tracking updates

  • Securing delivery location


Damaged Shipments (STRICT REQUIREMENTS)

If your order arrives damaged, you must:

1. Contact the shipping carrier immediately
2. Notify Peter’s Car Parts within 48 hours of delivery

Failure to comply within 48 hours may result in:

  • Denial of claim

  • No replacement, refund, or credit

Required Steps

  • Retain all original packaging and materials

  • Take clear photos of damage and packaging

  • Provide a list of damaged or missing items

  • Do not return items without written authorization

Claims are subject to:

  • Carrier approval

  • Inspection of returned goods


Incorrect Shipments

If you believe you received an incorrect item:

  • You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Claims will be reviewed and verified before approval

  • Unauthorized returns will not be accepted


Cancellations

  • Orders that have shipped cannot be cancelled

  • These are considered returns, if eligible

Cancellation requests:

  • Are not guaranteed once an order is placed

  • May be subject to a minimum 20% cancellation fee if approved


Returns

All approved returns are subject to a mandatory 20% restocking fee.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Item must be new, unused, uninstalled

  • Must be in original packaging

  • Must be requested within 30 days of delivery

Conditions

  • Item must be received and inspected before any refund is issued

  • Buyer is solely responsible for all return shipping costs under all circumstances

  • Any damage, missing parts, or signs of use may result in denial or additional deductions

Original shipping charges are non-refundable under all circumstances.


Non-Returnable / Final Sale Items

The following items are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange:

  • Special order items

  • Built-to-order items

  • Supplier-sourced items

  • Imported goods

  • Body kits

  • Used items

  • Installed, modified, or altered items


Special Order Items (Final Sale)

All special order, built-to-order, and supplier-sourced items are final sale.

  • Deposits are non-refundable

  • Full payments are non-refundable

  • Cancellations, returns, refunds, or exchanges are not permitted under any circumstances

These items are ordered specifically for the customer and cannot be reversed or resold.


International Shipping

International shipments may be subject to:

  • Customs duties

  • Import taxes

  • Brokerage fees

These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

If a shipment is:

  • Refused

  • Abandoned

  • Not cleared through customs

The customer is responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs

  • Additional fees

  • Any resulting losses


Shipping Costs

All shipping charges are non-refundable under any circumstances, including:

  • Returns

  • Refused deliveries

  • Failed or incomplete shipments


Product Condition & Installation

  • Any item that is installed, modified, or altered is not eligible for return

  • Peter’s Car Parts is not responsible for:

    • Installation costs

    • Labor costs

    • Compatibility issues

    • Damages resulting from installation or use


Final Acknowledgment

By placing an order, the customer agrees that:

  • All timelines are estimates and not guaranteed

  • Shipping delays may occur

  • Certain items are final sale

  • Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee

  • Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable

  • Claims must be reported within strict timeframes
