The AutoTecknic Dry Carbon Fiber Canards are the comprehensive solution to tune the front of a car's handling aerodynamically. Made of lightweight and durable carbon graphite composites, AutoTecknic Dry Carbon Fiber Canards help increase front down-force at high speeds. The added downforce stabilizes the vehicle chassis during hard cornering and increases traction which equates to faster lap times. The carbon fiber aesthetic characteristics also add more aggressive styling to the G80 M3 and G82/ G83 M4.

Dry carbon is the highest-quality version of carbon fiber products that are produced. Dry carbon fiber's name comes from its manufacturing process. Dry carbon fiber is formed by using a "pre-preg" or impregnated piece of carbon materials. This piece of carbon is first placed into a mold and then into a sealed vacuum (autoclave) to properly cure. This method creates the least amount of waste and forms a lighter version of carbon than the "wet" method. The autoclave vacuuming process of making dry carbon means fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets in the carbon.
