Description

The OEM charge path on the 2.0T EA888.4 is a system built to a budget. APR's Charge Pipes and Turbo Muffler Pipe were built to perform. The OEM product features plastic components prone to cracking under sustained boost pressure, a restrictive throttle body inlet, and a turbo muffler that chokes outlet flow before boost even has a chance to build — these are the weak links APR engineered around. The APR Charge Pipes and Turbo Muffler Pipe replace the entire system with precision-machined aluminum and reinforced silicone hose construction, addressing every restriction from the turbo outlet to the throttle body in a single install.

Installation Instructions
  • Multi-Ply Silicone Hoses with Fluorosilicone lining: Resist heat, swelling, and tearing for a lasting seal, while oil-resistant surfaces protect against PCV vapors and turbo outlet gases.
  • Smoother Airflow Paths: Eliminating Throttle Body Inlet restrictions reduces turbulence for consistent boost and minimal pressure loss.
  • 66% Larger Outlet Area: APR’s 60 mm design majorly reduces restriction at the turbo outlet for faster turbo spool.
  • Billet Ethanol Sensor Fitting: A pre-tapped NPT bung supports water/ethanol nozzles or sensors without fabrication.
  • Billet MAP Sensor Fitting: Precision-machined construction ensures accurate pressure readings and proper fitment.
  • Aluminum Construction: Heat-resistant aluminum replaces crack-prone OEM plastic for lasting reliability.
  • APR EZ-Flow Stepped Interior Lips: Smooth pipe-to-hose transitions minimize internal airflow turbulence.
  • Integrated PCV Vent Path: Maintains factory crankcase ventilation without added hardware or rerouting.
  • Enhanced Turbocharger Sound: Removing the factory muffler delivers a more pronounced turbo sound.
  • TIG-Welded Mounting Brackets: Provide secure, rattle-free fitment at factory mounting points.
  • No-Slip Bead-Rolled Ends: Secures hoses under high boost to prevent blow-offs and leaks.
