Do I need new gaskets and bolts?

You'll want fresh header gaskets and bolts for the connection to the cylinder head. Stock fasteners can seize; new hardware ensures a clean seal and easier removal later if needed.

Will this work with my factory exhaust manifold gasket?

No. Header flanges require dedicated header gaskets rated for the bolt pattern and temperature. Don't reuse old manifold gaskets—they won't seal properly.

Does this header need to be ceramic coated or painted?
