Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need new gaskets and bolts to install this?

Factory gaskets and bolts work, but new gaskets are cheap insurance against leaks — grab a set when you order. Bolts can be reused if they're in good shape.

Will this header fit with my current exhaust system?

This header bolts directly to the engine. Your downstream exhaust (mid-pipe, cat-back, resonator) connects to the collector outlet — measure that outlet diameter and match it to your existing piping before buying.

Does this need to be painted or ceramic coated?

Stainless steel won't rust bare, but headers do get hot and can discolor over time. If you want it to stay shiny, ceramic coating or high-temp paint after install keeps it looking new — neither is required for function.
