Do I need to drain the old pump or empty the reservoir first?

Empty the washer fluid reservoir before swapping pumps to avoid spillage inside the tank. The old pump pulls straight out once you disconnect the hose and electrical connector — takes about five minutes.

Will this pump work with my current washer fluid?

Yes. This pump is compatible with any standard windshield washer fluid. Use whatever you're already running — no special fluid required.

What if the pump doesn't spray after installation?

Check that the hose is fully seated on the outlet nozzle and that the electrical connector clicked into place. If spray is weak, air may be trapped in the line — run the pump for 10–15 seconds to purge. If you still have no flow, verify the connector is seated by pulling it off and pushing it back on firmly.
