Will this clamp work on both sides of my intercooler or piping?

V-bands are designed as male-to-male connectors, so you'll need matching V-band flanges welded or attached to both ends of your tubing. The clamp itself doesn't seal against bare pipe.

How tight should I tighten the bolts?

Tighten bolts evenly in a cross pattern until the band is snug and the mating surfaces are fully seated. Over-torquing can warp the band; hand-tight-plus-a-half-turn is a solid starting point, then check for leaks under boost.

Can I reuse this clamp multiple times if I'm building a modular system?

Yes—that's the whole point of V-band. Unbolt the clamp, separate your piping, swap components, and re-clamp. Make sure the V-band flanges stay clean and undamaged for a good seal each time.
