Do I need hose clamps, and what size?

Yes — you'll need clamps for both ends. Standard worm-gear clamps in the 2.5"–3.5" range work on this diameter. Pick up stainless steel for durability, especially if you're routing near the radiator or turbo.

Can I use this for both coolant and boost lines?

This hose handles both. The 3-ply construction resists pressure spikes from boost and won't degrade under coolant temps. Just make sure your clamp pressure is even on both ends to prevent weeping at startup.

What if I need a different length or diameter?
