Do I need fasteners to install this clamp?

Can I use this clamp on a ceramic-coated or polished pipe?

Bare steel clamps can mark polished or coated pipes under vibration and clamping pressure. If your pipes are finished, consider using a rubber-lined clamp or wrapping the contact points with protective material before installation.
