Do I need hose clamps with this?

Yes. Clamps are not included — you'll need stainless steel worm-gear clamps that fit your barbed fitting diameters. T-bolt clamps work better on silicone than hose clamps if you're running higher boost.

Can I use this on a boost line or does it only work for coolant?

This hose handles both. Silicone resists heat and pressure equally well, so it works on radiator lines, intercooler feeds, or turbo inlet plumbing without issue.

Does the blue color fade or require sealing?

Blue dye is baked into the silicone — it won't peel. No coating or prep needed. It will fade slightly over time under UV exposure, but that's normal and doesn't affect function.
