Can I use this for fuel line or brake line applications?

No. This is engineered for coolant, water, boost, and intercooler circuits. Fuel and brake lines require DOT-spec hose — do not substitute.

How do I prep or cut this hose before installing?

Use a sharp utility knife or hose cutter for clean ends. Teflon tape on barbed fittings helps with sealing. Soak the hose in warm water for 30 seconds before pushing onto fittings — it softens slightly and seats better.
