Frequently Asked Questions

Does this come with the door panel trim or wiring harness?

Switch assembly only. You'll need the door panel removed to access the mounting location, but the connector plugs straight into the factory harness behind the trim.

Will this work if my window motor is bad?

This is the switch only — it controls electrical signal to the motor. If the window won't move at all, test the motor and regulator before replacing the switch. A dead switch causes no response when you press the button; a bad motor still clicks but doesn't move glass.

Can I install this myself without dealer tools?

Yes. Remove the door panel (usually 4–6 clips and screws), unplug the old switch, and plug the new one in. Reverse to reassemble. No special tools or wiring knowledge needed.
